1. Describe the energy-related problem or topic your group selected.

Our group decided to focus on the increasing use and energy efficiency of public transportation.

In our opinion, reducing fossil fuels by carpooling or using public transportation can't hurt. Considering this is a no lose solution that can be made by little lifestyle changes, the resultant time restricting excessive use of fossil fuels can be nothing but beneficial. With this time, we can develop alternative solutions or more effective methods of transportation that won't be as harmful to the environment. Also, the given time will yield more developed and tested results, hopefully.
