I am interested in developing programs such as google apps and learning how to make programs assessable to users

CSCI 1300 CSCI 2270 CSCI 4229 CSCI 3104 (Currently enrolled) My work involves making large data sets accessible to the average user

I understand c++ and idl. I have some experience with java and am currently learning HTML. I have developed programs for the AIM mission at LASP

Photoshop, GIMP, openGL


7 Give a brief description of the most important book / article which you have read with respect to the topic of the course.
How To Become A Hacker - Eric Steven Raymond It gave me a sense of what is expected out of the hacker community and what is necessary to participate in it. It also provides a jumping point in learning languages and programming styles. Also, it gives great motivation on why you should join the hacker community.


8. What do you hope and expect to learn from this course?
A different way of thinking and approaching problems and a skill set to help develop a foundation for developing programs.
