Jason - 1) It supports both indivisual and group creativity by having a tabletop format.  One person or a group can be creative limited only by the types of peices and what they can represent.  2) I find it interesting because it reminds me of when I was a kid playing with blocks and legos and cars building what ever I wanted.  This seems like the same idea.  3) It would be helpful to be able to see a moving system like to understand the traffic.  This helps the understanding of why the bus is full or late.
