I have a BS in Chemical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and I am currently working on the prerequisites for the graduate CS program at CU. I discovered that I liked programming in one of my undergraduate research labs, when I wrote a complex program in LabVIEW to operate one of the lab devices. I worked in solar panel chemistry research for a little over a year and a half, and have since decided that I want to change directions and head full on into computer science. I was born in Denver, and I am very happy that I got to move back here after my four years in Baltimore. I enjoy skiing, running barefoot, climbing, dancing hip hop and blues and salsa, and drawing and painting.
