1.1 To-Do - Preparation
Please work as a group (minimum: 2 members; max: 6 members) 

We will discuss the projects in class on Wed, Oct 6 — so all of you should be prepared for the discussion!

Keep in Mind:
* the “Student Project” will contribute 30% to your grade
* you should talk to the sponsor(s) of your project
* the detailed requirements for progress reports and final reports will be published later

1.1 To-Do
1. study the document “Projects for the HCC Foundation Course” (in the “[Students’ Projects>Student Projects]” page on the Wiki)
1. select a project that is of real interest to you
1. find collaborators and form a group of peers (such a group may already exist) with whom you will work on the project 
1. sign up for the project (if it is still available) on the “[Students’ Projects>Student Projects]”
1. identify parts of the project and an initial role distribution among your team members
1. each team member should contribute 
11. a brief rational what she/he finds interesting
11. what she/he plans to do to get started on the project
