NOTE: the text in the assignment "this wiki page" is a link, referring to A4Design Methods, not to the current page (Assignment4Class).
You should edit that page, not this one.
Team Awesome figured it out...
I tried to make a little bit clearer.
??? There is a weird error when I create the document. It gives the outline of what we are supposed to do but then it has "nulls" written through most of the post. We can't edit that part but there is a a box for our argumentation.
I'm not sure what happened, but the Hiphophippotomi had claimed participatory design last Friday. We can discard our previous research and work on professional-dominated design; however, professional-dominated design doesn't seem to be listed here: http://swiki.cs.colorado.edu:3232/CHI07Design
Any suggestions for a course of action?
According to the history, there's evidence that I edited the document, but the actual edit didn't show up. Perhaps because I was using google chrome? Anyway, my fault for not checking that the page was successfully updated. Any good links on professional-dominated design?
??? Yeah, we didn't see your edit. We randomly chose a methodology and someone in our group marked it sometime over the weekend. Sorry about that.
Here's a link I was browsing to help you out. From what I gather, professional-dominated design seems to be a method where people in a certain field devise a systematic way to design based on their experiences and successes. This design is an extension to business which targets the market and their clients.

Hope this helps.
Ariel, do you have a timeframe for when you performed the edit? i would like to look at the logs to see what kind of error might have caused this as we have not had any previous reports of saves not working.
Okay, I do see that you saved the document around 12:30 on Saturday, but with no changes made. I will look at the logs to see if there is a reason.
I also just edited the page with Chrome and was able to save changes with no problem (from the Mac version at least).
I know on other pages in the site I've come up with a pop-up error saying "this browser doesn't support editing" then I have the option to "force editing", but I'm pretty certain that didn't come up this time. I'm not sure I can provide much more information, sorry!
yes, there are some instances where the browser check is out of date--but it should still work.
no success in looking in the logs.
have you been able to edit other pages?
is there a reason you didn't use the form above to create your page (as pointed out in class)?
i added an object of class Assignment4Class to your document, so now it shows up in the list above.
(you could also add
#includeForm("courses:HCCF2010.Assignment4ClassSheet")
