Bethany Henrikson, 2010/09/21 00:38Somehow, things got lost. I saved it. It says I saved it. I saved it twice. Once after the Strengths question and once after filling in the appropriate domains question. However, it's not showing up. When we came back to finish the last question, those questions were randomly blank! Help! I don't want to lose that work, so to prevent saving over it with a previous copy, our answer to the last question will be in the next comment.

Bethany Henrikson, 2010/09/21 00:52Also, this was added to our sources: Participatory Design Workshops, by Gerry Gaffney - (http://www.infodesign.com.au/ftp/ParticipatoryDesign.pdf)

Bethany Henrikson, 2010/09/21 00:56Why is design methodology important (suited) or not important (suited) for human-centered computing? Participatory Design is definitely important (suited) for HCC! “Some researchers (of HCC) focus on understanding humans, both as individuals and in social groups, by focusing on the ways that human beings adopt, adapt, and organize their lives around computational technologies” (Wikipedia). This is almost exactly how developers in participatory design focus on understanding the users of their product. I would say the main difference between it and HCC, is that HCC has a much larger group of users and participatory design doesn't do well with such large groups.

HCCF Grader, 2010/09/22 10:09Sorry about the problems with the wiki. Not sure what happened there. Good work! Just try to avoid an uncommented/explained direct quote like you had in the first question.
