I'm also often wondering about all the (environmental) costs of producing hybrids what with those huge batteries that no one knows how long they will last… Of course, there also always the hidden costs of the 'old' energy production. From global warming to disposal of nuclear waste, the long-term costs will likely be extremely high – if someone finds a solution to them at all.
