4. Why are you interested in taking this course?

I'm in the digital and social systems track in computer science. I'm very interested in how computer science can be used to better the lives of individuals through both applications but more over through device technologies. I am specifically interested in the embedded level though I'm excited for everything this course has to offer.

5. What courses / work activities / background knowledge do you have which might be relevant to this course?

I work for Colorado Space Grant Consortium on satellite software so I'm familiar with embedded system design as well as the complete other end in GUI development.

I'm proficient in C and C++. I'm familiar with Python, MySQL, PHP, and some assembly language.

I haven't.

8. What do you hope and expect to learn from this course?

I hope to find areas which I'm passionate about. I hope to better understand the breadth of areas in which computer science has an impact and learn how it has that impact.
