4. Why are you interested in taking this course?
I am interested in the Cognitive Science aspect of the course and how people interact with computers and each other through computers.


5. What courses / work activities / background knowledge do you have which might be relevant to this course?
I currently work for SOE Denver on the games and web related stuff. I have mainly worked on their customer service tool to be more user friendly and have more functionality for its users. This involved quite a bit of user feedback and ultimately made their tasks easier to perform.

C++, C, Perl, Python, Javascript, Java, SQL


6.2. What applications are you familiar with (e.g. Photoshop, Canvas, Dreamweaver,...)?
Similar software to Photoshop: GIMP, Sound Editing software: Audacity


7 Give a brief description of the most important book / article which you have read with respect to the topic of the course.
Nothing specifically, but I assume portions of psychology readings I've read concerning cognitive science and human interaction will be beneficial for the topic of the course.


8. What do you hope and expect to learn from this course?
I hope to expand my knowledge of how to create a comfortable social network through human-computer interaction.
