- What affordances of the paper exercises did you prefer?
- The map stayed in one perspective Plus the software was a little buggy making it so you had to spend a little time figuring things out
- What affordances of the EDC exercises did you prefer?
- The software did all of the calculations and it was easy to visualize in 3D space and see what height changes did to affect views for the community
- What limitations did you find in the paper exercise?
- it was hard to make square footage decisions due to the fact that it was hard to calculate things we had tiny scraps of paper all over the place. also, the map was 2 dimensional, so it was hard to take topography into account
- What limitations did you find in the EDC exercise?
- people kept moving things and the view and so much would get done at once it was kind of overwhelming 3 screens unfocused attention
- In what ways did you find the paper exercise supported you in your task?
- we are all focused on the same map that can't move
- In what ways did you find the EDC exercise supported you in your task?
- calculations are easy, visualization is easy
