- What affordances of the paper exercises did you prefer?
- Incremental layering of building sizes Easier to distribute tasks (no concurrency issues, zoom level, cubes holding)
- What affordances of the EDC exercises did you prefer?
- Automatic tallying of sq. ft. Ground level perspective global clarity given summation
- What limitations did you find in the paper exercise?
- difficult to add up numbers cannot get different views of buildings esp w/ shape considerations
- What limitations did you find in the EDC exercise?
- Unable to take 2 diff views of the space want to have 3D view disconnected from 2D planning view (on request)
- In what ways did you find the paper exercise supported you in your task?
- can see everything at once (no need to zoom) can more easily divide the tasks into quadrants
- In what ways did you find the EDC exercise supported you in your task?
- 3D view to assess building impact on views
- Comments
- EDC would benefit by coloring by level type Need more cubes to better distribute ability to change buildings Results may be skewed by order of test as EDC/Paper influences other
