What affordances of the paper exercises did you prefer?
Incremental layering of building sizes Easier to distribute tasks (no concurrency issues, zoom level, cubes holding)
What affordances of the EDC exercises did you prefer?
Automatic tallying of sq. ft. Ground level perspective global clarity given summation
What limitations did you find in the paper exercise?
difficult to add up numbers cannot get different views of buildings esp w/ shape considerations

What limitations did you find in the EDC exercise?
Unable to take 2 diff views of the space want to have 3D view disconnected from 2D planning view (on request)
In what ways did you find the paper exercise supported you in your task?
can see everything at once (no need to zoom) can more easily divide the tasks into quadrants
In what ways did you find the EDC exercise supported you in your task?
3D view to assess building impact on views
Comments
EDC would benefit by coloring by level type Need more cubes to better distribute ability to change buildings Results may be skewed by order of test as EDC/Paper influences other
