2. SketchUp

SketchUp is 3D modeling software. Currently models can be printed to scale on a regular printer. Has SketchUp been integrated to work with the new 3D printers and used to create 3D models via design then print? I think this would be a very interesting extensible feature of SketchUp. This way an architect could physically show the model to a client or a teacher could show her students a model via the computer and then pass it around to the class. This feature would allow users to physically make something that is part of the real world via a google application.

3. 3D Warehouse

3D warehouse guidelines ask that a person uses photos to increase the accuracy of 3D models they create and submit. Is there a repository in existence to collect photos of buildings that people are trying to model, or is there some way other than the models already in existence on 3D warehouse for users to share information, ask questions, and improve upon one anothers designs before submission? I think an environment like 3D warehouse which works a lot like a wiki after publishing should also have a socially valuable tool that enables the work there to be collaborative.
