- The paper prompted me to think about the childhood activities I focused on and later evolved from into computing. My big activity was legos when I was little. Just the idea of building things with legos is rather comforting to me; it centers me in a way. When I think about programming or even putting a computer together, the idea of building something gives me the same feeling I had when I was young snapping legos together. Have you investigated anything more focused on the emotional attachments we form with intellectual childhood activities that might lead us to hold onto that type of activity throughout our lives?
