Hey, when I was looking for my apartment in Boulder last year I used ApartmentRatings.com to check the quality of places. They have user feedback about entire apartments, not just landlords. I don't know if it will help you at all, but it can't hurt.

There was one thing about this site I found a little frustrating that you guys might want to consider. When people were rating the property/location/owners, the type of renter was never considered. For example: my girlfriend and I don't drink, so availability of booze and parties was never important to us, so when we saw that a place was rated high because there was a liquor store next door and a party always going on, we knew to steer clear.

If you guys take into account the kind of environment a person is looking for (good community, lots of parties, quiet place to study, others) then the results they get receive might be much more helpful.
