you can work as a group and submit one answer as a group (clearly identifying the members of your group) 



1.1.1 To Do:

&bull;	explore what the concept of "digital divide" means and briefly describe YOUR understanding of it (Wikipedia has an entry about it - but this should be just the beginning, not the end of your exploration)


&bull;	select one specific dimension of the digital divide and briefly discuss why this aspect is important  and what should be done to avoid / overcome it


&bull;	in the class meeting on August 27, a movie was shown about the CLever project! how is the work shown in the movie related to the digital divide?

1.1.1 How-to
To respond to this assignment:
* create a page linked into your profile with a name that is indicative that it is assignment one and with some indication of the authors
** to create a page using the "link method" put the name of the document prefixed with "DSSF2008." between square brackets. Example: \[DSSF2008.PageName-YourName\]  When you save-and-view your profile, you can click on the link to the page and it will create a new page in the course space.
** you can also create the page using the create panel on the left. Again, prefix it with "DSSF2008." Example: DSSF2008.PageName-YourName\\  You will still have to put the link where you want it eventually using the square bracket syntax.
* tag this page with the tag: "a2" (it will then appear in the list below)
