- 2. SketchUp
- SketchUp seems to be versatile for a various number of fields and positions - mostly designing and somewhat artistic - what was the original intent and/or original target audience of SketchUp, and do you foresee a real incorporation of SketchUp in the education of younger generations (i.e. in primary and secondary education systems)? This is an important question to me because a lot of new technology is being introduced into the classrooms of elementary schools more than when I was in elementary school, and I am interested in the effects of these new versatile tools as an aid to early education, and SketchUp could be a very interesting tool to incorporate into lessons, but it would also be interesting to know at what level of education would it be too complicated for a child to learn to use.
- 3. 3D Warehouse
- 3D Warehouse seems like an excellent way to store frameworks or design templates to build off of and create something new - or create something custom and unique to your design abilities. In other words, it's a way to display a portfolio to companies, which brings a marketing aspect into 3D Warehouse - so the question I have is: did you anticipate 3D Warehouse being used in business when it was initially released, and, if not, do you plan to make any particular accommodations to these specific audiences that use 3D Warehouse (i.e. businesses, modelers, etc.)?
